Well, The Aeronca has been traded for a "New" 1947

Had my first run-in with a bird, see the results below.......





I started to strip the paint off of the tail, most of it was starting chip off. This will be the start of re-finishing the plane
back to its original color, red with a cream stripe.

1947 Aeronca 11AC "Chief" Converted to 85HP

This is my Aeronca Chief NC3668E in front of our hangar in Morristown, TN

"The Chief" Is famous around Morristown, I am the first to leave and the last to arrive.....Cruising at about 90mph

This was a mornig flight to Knoxville, TN Early morning and late afternoon is when the Chief is truely a joy to fly.
